CASE SUMMARIES
This disabled couple were victims of the flood in Galena. Christian Associates put them up in Harbor House transitional housing while their home was cleaned and repaired. The Red Cross agreed to provide rent for one month. They received clothing from the Thrift Shop and food from the pantry.
“J” has been in the Harbor House shelter for approximately two months at the time of this report. She has recently found an office job that pays relatively well. She is working on her typing skills and plans to take the GED course.
“HT” is “taking flight” from her history of abuse! A successful college student, she has been invited to participate in a summer internship program in London. Donors who have helped he meet college expenses have also supported this opportunity for a young woman to begin a career in film and television.
